Telecom Infrastructure / National Network Build
Large-scale national fibre backbone for oil and gas locations
RLTT delivered large-scale telecom infrastructure across Libya’s oil and gas sector, providing the physical network foundation required to connect remote oilfields, production facilities, operational sites, export terminals, headquarters, and data centers.
In cooperation with national telecom and energy-sector stakeholders, RLTT played a key role in connecting 29 oilfields and oil facilities to Libya’s Next Generation Broadband Network, extending backbone infrastructure from remote Sahara Desert locations to strategic coastal and export-terminal environments.
The infrastructure scope included an integrated fibre optic backbone exceeding 1,000 kilometres, supported by civil works, trenching, duct installation, fibre deployment, splicing, testing, commissioning, and network integration. RLTT also continues to operate, maintain, and support critical oilfield communication infrastructure across Libya.
